Electronic Marquee
at American High School
American High School
needs your financial support to pursue the purchase,
installation, and continued operation of an
electronic marquee. Whether you can contribute $25
or $250 or $2,500, your contribution will be
dedicated to the installation of an electronic
marquee by May of 2006. A "Memorial Brick" completed
with your wishes/wording will be completed when a
donation of $250.00 or above is made. These bricks
will line the stem of the marquee and on display for
all of the community to admire. Keep in mind that
AHS already has $20,000 earmarked toward the
estimated $45,000 cost.
With support from all
aspects of American's community, a new marquee can
help:
• Increase community
awareness of the activities at AHS (academic, music,
sports, drama, community events)
• Include the use of
technology more completely with in the school
• Provide a visible
focal point and a gathering point on the campus
• Provide student
organizations with the opportunity to learn how to
manage and run an "information" business (for
example: program the marquee, schedule production,
etc.)
• Publicly acknowledge
achievements of students and faculty
Contributions are tax
deductible and will be acknowledged with thank you
letters denoting the
Tax ID number. Checks should be made payable to
American High School, labeled "Marquee Project," and
can be mailed or delivered to AHS at 36300 Fremont
Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94536. Cash contributions can
be made at any PTSA, Band Parent or Booster
Meetings.
