Hello American High Community,

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2007-2008 school year!  We are back in full swing at American High and some important events require your attention.  It is important to stay involved as statistics have proven that success starts in the home with parents who take an interest in their child's school and education.

Upcoming Events at AHS:
November 1  - Grad Night 2008 meeting will take place at 6:00 in the school library.  The PTSA meeting will follow at 7:00 pm with our guest speaker, Theresa D’Audney, AHS Career and College Specialist.

November 2 – Homecoming Football Game – TAK Fudenna Stadium at 7:00 pm.

November 7 – “In Search of the American Creed” program for students and parents.  7:00 location at AHS to be announced.

November 12 – Veteran’s Day Observed – No school

November 19-20 – Parent/Teacher Conferences.   Check school website for exact times.   Please take this opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher. 

November 19-23 – No school for students

December 6 - Grad Night 2008 meeting will take place at 6:00 in the school library.  The PTSA meeting will follow at 7:00 pm.

December 8 – Grad Night Holiday Boutique in AHS Rotunda. 

A lot happening at AHS and I hope you are able to attend a few, if not ALL, of the above!
